(More customer reviews)I have been using this soap for about 3 years now and I don't know what I'd do if they quit making it.I have acne prone sensitive skin and this soap is the only thing I've found that I can use that doesn't leave me with itchy, burning, irritated skin. It also has helped my acne.I'm in my 30's and have had acne ever since my teens. Prior to using this soap I would get huge painful pimples, now when I break out the pimples are smaller, less noticeable, fewer in number, less painful, and heal much quicker. Yes, the smell did take some getting used to but now I don't even notice it. It has a medicinal odor but the smell doesn't linger on your skin. It lathers nicely, rinses clean, and leaves no residue. I can use this soap year round and my skin does not dry out. On the contrary I use very little lotion or moisturizer these days. I woulddefinitely recommend giving this soap a try and they even sell it in little travel sizes, perfect for trying out a product without buying a full sized bar.

(More customer reviews)A few months ago I developed rosacea. I never had acne in my youth, though I did suffer from psoriasis in my early thirties, until I found a remedy usingnatural herbs and vitamins. I wanted to find something similar for rosacea, if possible.

I Googled some term words looking for an answer. I noticed quite a few posts from people swearing by this "SeaBuckthorn" stuff. I'm not one to easily part with cash and $26 (after shipping) seemed like a lot of money to risk for something I never heard of - and what is SeaBuckthorn, anyway? I still don't know. When you're desperate, however, you'll try almost anything. The only place I could find it was on Amazon. I usually buy my supplements from Puritan's Pride, but they didn't carry it.

I now see that Amazon has found another business, which wasn't listed when I ordered it, who carries the same product for about $5 bucks less than I paid. No bad words for Tao, who I bought it from, as their service was excellent, but $18, from ABC Wholesale is more than 20% less than $23, from Tao.

The oil arrived quickly and I wasted no time. It has an orange color and I immediately wondered if my nose and cheek area would remain that color. It doesn't. The oil washes off with water and a little soap - no scrubbing needed. Though I don't sleep with it on, because of it transferring to the linen, it does not permanently stain fabric. It would be nice if it were colorless, though.

I also thought the size supplied wouldn't be enough. It is a small bottle, about 3 inches high, but I've been using it for 2 weeks now and haven't put a dent in it. One drop is enough to cover my nose and surrounding area.

I saw results 24 hours after my first application, having left it on while I was at home all day. I thought it was wishful thinking, but my child verified that the redness had subsided. In a week the rosacea was greatly improved and now, at 2 weeks into use, it is reduced to looking like a few bumps on my nose - which is much more acceptable compared to how it had looked. I'm hoping that eventually all signs of the rosacea will be gone.

Bottom line: Yes, it works, and was worth every penny. It may become the next great discovery for skin remedies, following in the footsteps of Flaxseed Oil relieving psoriasis.

(More customer reviews)I developed hand eczema in my late 30's and suffered with it for four years.My flare-ups would range from mild to sever - almost debilitating.I tried just about every treatment available, prescription, non-prescription, home remedy, you name it.Some would work for a while, like hydrocortisone creams and Protopic, but eventually I would build up a tolerance and they were ineffective.When I first tried Loma Lux I was skeptical, but desperate, within a week I noticed my eczema clearing up, but I didn't get too excited since my eczema is cyclical.Then I ran out of the one bottle I had purchased and sure enough within a week or so, my eczema came back.At that point I purchased more, and have pretty much been using this product steady for the past year and one-half.While on Loma Lux, my eczema ranges from non-existent to mild and never real itchy.Also, I do moisturize my hands throughout the day with a heavy cream.When I do get a flare-up my eczema is very responsive to medications; I just dig out an old tube of Protopic or hydrocortisone and usually within a day or two the flare-up is either gone or under control.Loma Lux has not cured me of eczema, but it keeps it under control and boosts the efficacy of other treatments/medications.Currently I take about half of the recommended dose, but will increase the dose when needed (which is rare).Overall I am very satisfied with this product; if you are desperate, like I was, I would recommend giving it a shot.
