(More customer reviews)My son and I have been using Udo's DHA 3-6-9 with incredible results. He is much calmer and more focused and has overall better behavior since using it. His eczema, which is genetic, has also disappeared. I am glad I found an alternative to the fish oil because DHA is very important, especially for my toddler... but I wanted to spare the fish their livers! As well as avoid the risk of ocean-borne contaminants sometimes found in fish oils. I'd also like to note that sometimes I will buy Spectrum Toddler DHA liquid formula.

(More customer reviews)I started taking Flax Oil for a number of reasons.A chiropractor friend suggested I take it for joint inflammation, and in researching the product, I found out it has other benefits as well.Since starting Flax, my joint pain is no longer significant, I have dropped 3-5 points in my diastolic blood pressure, and my total cholesterol and LDL are significantly lower.I surely cannot attribute all these positive benefits to flax oil alone, as I have instituted other dietary and exercise protocols as well.However, my research indicates that flax oil benefits all the conditions I mentioned.I actually started with "Highest Lignan Flax Oil" by Barlean's Organic Oils, Barlean's Organic Oils High Lignan Flax Oil, 32-Ounce Bottle.Later, I switched to Swanson's brand due to the lower cost.

Flax is a plant. The seeds in the flax plant are filled with flaxseed oil, (also called linseed oil). The seeds contain fatty oils called alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid. ALA is the omega-3 oil in flaxseed. Flaxseed contains both omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids. Flaxseed is nature's richest storehouse of omega-3 fatty acids, and contains more than twice as much omega-3 oil as fish oils, and it costs less , ounce for ounce. Flax also contains other important substances like lignans, which may protect against some types of cancer. The husks of the seeds are rich in mucilage. Both the seed oil and mucilage have many nutritional and therapeutic properties.

There are many potential benefits from taking Flax seed oil:

Flaxseed Oil lowers cholesterol levels, thereby improving cardiovascular health and lessening the risk of arteriosclerosis.

Flaxseed also contains plant nutrients like phytoestrogens. These are natural estrogen-like substances that can lessen the discomfort of menopause.

Flaxseed oil may lower high blood pressure.

To me, it smells like an autumn campfire, and it brings with it such a sense of joyful relaxation that i like using it even though i don't really have skin problems. Be prepared for the absolute delight of the earthy rich aroma that it has....ahhhh..... oh, and don't be put off by the black color.it is a great cleanser!

The dermatologist coulnt help, tablets I took for it didnt help, herbal remedies, allergy tests, traditional cortizone cream - nothing worked! The skin around my mouth got itchy, red, peeling, and swollen. I looked like I had a giant red clown mouth, with cuts at the corners too.It looked so gross, and it hurt too because the itch was terrible. I tried this out of sheer desperation and doubted it would work, cause nothing else did.
I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who has suffered the same thing. Its really, really great.My lips healed VERY quickly, within 2 days they were back to normal.I also dont have to use it religiously either. Yeah, it tastes gross, but just dont eat it! Great, great great product.

Now Foods Jojoba Oil Pure Review

(More customer reviews)I deep fried my hair with bleach about 8 times, it's been every color of the rainbow and then some, I relaxed it, etc. Everything you could do wrong to your hair, I've done! BUT... Just when I thought all hope was lost, I tried using a little jojoba oil in my hair before flat-ironing it (with a CHI, of course <3) wow. just wow. My hair is just as soft, if not softer than it was before I ever burned it a million times over. It comes out very straight, and the style holds very well. Mind you, it's really easy to over do it with this oil because it's so concentrated, but I personally don't trust it unless it comes pure. For shoulder length hair like mine, I use about 3 or 4 drops each time. THAT'S IT. Or it'll look more oily than the fields in the middle east. I've done this on my sister's hair (which is completely different, it's very kinky) and it works even better. Since her hair isn't bleached, it not only comes out straight and soft but shiny as well (and not in the omg oil way). I love this stuff so much. Without it, I might have had to shave off all of my hair! :x (oh yeah, make sure to straighten/style with this oil after your hair is already dried)

Oh, and this makes a wonderful skin moisturizer as well. (Only good if you like the shiny-ish glowing goddess look on your skin)

PS GREAT if you are acne prone, this oil is very similar to the oil our skin naturally makes so if you use it you won't break out like no tomorrow.

PSS On occasion, I will combine this with a dime-size drop of Biosilk Silk Therapy: Silk Treatment for styles with more volume. Mix the two in the palm of your hands and brush through your hair lightly with it. The Sally Beauty Generic of Biosilk works just as well. =)
