This is the greatest thing in the world. So soft and creamy, yet not gooey. Smells like true chocolate and heals my chapped and dry lips in no time. I have a habit of biting my lips so they are permanently dry, and this chapstick is my favorite. It tends to kick start chocolate craving...haha

Dr. Bronner - Castile Soap Tea Tree Review

Dr. Bronner - Castile Soap Tea Tree
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
As a happy user of Dr Bronner's the "Cheapened" review concerned me. I wrote to the company and would like to share their reply.
Hi there,

Thanks for writing and sharing your honest feedback. The soap is lighter
than it was before since now we use colorless but more effective vitamin E
(tocopherols) and not dark brown rosemary, and the viscosity is a little
different because of a higher olive oil content, but the soap is just as
concentrated as it was before at 39% solid.Absolutely no dilution has
occurred. You can determine this by pouring similar quantities of our older
conventional and newer organic liquid soaps into separate cups, and
observing that exactly the same amount of solid soap is left behind when the
water evaporates.

I know that the aroma of the soap is a little different, especially the
peppermint. Peppermint crops are the most susceptible to climate, similar to
how grapes can be distinguished by the environment in which they're grown.
When we switched to organic peppermint oil, we had to switch our source to
India rather than Washington state. The former aroma was more spicy and the
newer Indian peppermint oil has a mellower chocolatey smell. We still add
the same amount to our soaps.

All in all, the integrity of our soaps is higher than they have ever been.
We have now converted all of our oils to organic oils, which means that we
are supporting lots of sustainable farming and farm-worker health now.The
cost to us has been tremendous, but we felt the earth was definitely worth
it.Besides, this was an endeavor Dr. Bronner would definitely have
supported if he were alive today.

I hope these explanations have helped. Please let me know if I can be of further help.

Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for Diaper Rash Review

Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for Diaper Rash
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
All zinc oxide creams for diaper rash have the same active ingredient in approximately the same concentration. The difference lies in how well it stays on your baby's skin.Triple Paste is a thick paste that, while easy to apply, actually stays on the skin. All other diaper rash creams end up on the diaper, not on the skin, because they wipe off so easily.
This cream is a lifesaver.Triple Paste, along with original A+D Ointment, are all you need at your changing table.I use original A+D Ointment at bedtime as a preventative and Triple Paste if a rash actually develops. If Triple Paste doesn't clear it up, there's probably yeast present and you'll need to consult your doctor.
I received this at my baby shower and it was a fabulous gift!

TriDerma Eczema Fast Healing Cream Review

TriDerma Eczema Fast Healing Cream
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
**I'm posting this review on my husband's account, not my own (I actually don't have one)
I never leave reviews, but this product is working so well that I wanted to let others know how it has helped my son.

He is now a little over 4.5 months old and has had eczema spreading across his forehead and down to his cheeks since he was two months. The pediatrician originally gave us an anti-fungal cream to manage the rash, but there was no effect. At his 4 month well-check, we received a Rx for Alclometasone Dipropianate Cream, USP 0.05%. It worked amazingly well, and his skin was soft and smooth in 4 days. But, the label says that it's not recommended for children under 1 and the pediatrician was very clear that we not exceed 7 days of use and that we cease use earlier once his skin cleared. His skin remained clear for about a day and a half, but then a small patch of rash appeared on his forehead.

We began using Cetaphil lotioin to moisturize throughout the day and California Baby Calendula Cream, in an attempt to control the inflammation without the use of steroids (several reviews and message board posts mentioned its effectiveness). The combination seemed to slow the spread of the rash, initially, but his face and cheeks were soon covered again (worse than before we used the Rx cream).

We discontinued use of the Calendula cream, thinking it might be too strong and causing irritation. We continued with the Cetaphil, which seemed to provide temporary moisture and relief from the itching, but did nothing to control the rash and required numerous applications throughout the day.

A co-worker informed me that she has been using TriDerma to control her son's eczema since he was an infant (he's now 2), and suggested that I give it a try. We have been using TriDerma for 4 days, now. There was little noticeable difference in the first 2 days, but we've seen great improvement since then. It doesn't appear to be working as quickly at the Rx cream, but it is definitely working and appears to be following the same stages of healing as with the Rx cream.

I am so thankful! The rash was beginning to spread to his nose and eyelids, but is now receding, and we are hopeful that his skin will soon clear completely.
