(More customer reviews)I have had psoriasis for 25 years.As advertised this stuff is very easy to apply, does not appear to stain. It is not greasy. I did not have any complaints about smell from the family. I usually applied it just before going to bed.
For me, it worked as well as most of the prescription creams I have used in the past.This is a little expensive, but then you do not need to pay for a doctor's visit to tell you that yes you still have psoriasis, so maybe the expense evens out. Most of the prescription creams require you to discontinue use after 2 to 4 weeks.Psorent has been clinically used for 12 weeks in the trials.I suspect you could use it for even longer durations.The basic ingredient seems to come from coal tar which is a traditional medicine used against psoriasis for almost 100 years now so it is not really a new fangled product. It seems they just isolated what they think in the coal tar is most effective and made it easier to use.
I found the product was very effective in reducing the psoriasis.I can't say it cured it but I did have significant patches of the skin go back to normal and the rest of the patch were much improved.That is about what happens when I use prescription creams. Everyone is a little different so it is hard to tell how well any product will work for any given person, but I recommend you give it a try.This product was written up in Readers Digest as recommended by dermatologists which is why I gave it a try in the first place. After using it I can understand why it was written up.
