I washed my thick, shoulder-length hair every other day for a week with this product and it worked beautifully in removing flaky scalp built-up in my hair caused by the daily use of hairspray, gels, and other styling aids. It left my hair shiny and manageable. What I also like about this product is that it's color-free, fragrance-free and preservative-free so that it didn't strip the red highlights that I've had professionally added to my light brown hair nor leave me with hair that had an unpleasing scent. In my opinion this is a very good product and I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family.
