(More customer reviews)The sauna arrived in great shape and went together very easly. The only part was it was advertized on Amazon as having exterior and interior controls. When we got it assembled we found there was NO exterior controls. Other than that it is great. Sad to say that is one of the things we wanted. But we will live with it. Just hope Amazon corrects there mistake.

(More customer reviews)I was excited to receive my sauna. After viewing the DVD on how to put it together, it seemed to be so simple. BUT actually doing it was another story.
My husband is a handyman by trade. This, as anyone would know, is a calling to be able to do odd jobs with skill in many areas.My husband is 60 years old and has been in this business all of his life.
With that said, there were 2 area in the construction of this unit that maybe someone who is not skilled in, would not have been able to figure out.
First, to place the ceramic units on the sides of the walls, were not shown on the DVD.In order to feed the electrical connections to the source,we had to get a wire coat hanger and electricians tape and GINGERLY feed the wire thru, to the main box in order to plug it up.An ordinary person may not have the know-how and could have really messed up.
Second, the door handle was extremely fragile.It did crack and break upon application.So, my husband had to glue it and place it on the door the following day.We could have bought another handle, but why?
Now this is what really upset me.......there were absolutley no instructions on how to use the unit.After many tries to contact the people who sold it, we finally connected.I was treated like some backwoods country bumpkin on the phone.By that time, we had figured out, somewhat, how to set the unit's temperature, and length.But we felt instuctions should have come with the unit.
I am a Naturopathic Doctor in Mississippi.I work out of a doctors office.With that said, why should I be treated insuch a manner, just because 'maybe' I sound country?
I'm not upset with Amazon.I'm upset with the treatment I received from the sellers.

(More customer reviews)This product was ordered through Amazon, received on time and in excellent shape. After about two weeks I went to take a sauna and my heel went through the floor. I sent a picture of this to Amazon and they distributor sent me another complete floor. I have the following complaints:
The power package that controls the lights, ionizer and radio/cd had a loose wire. I found where it went and resoldered it. The radio has FM and MW (what ever that is). The CD plays fine but I consider the radio as worthless. My strongest complaint is about the installation, use and care manual of the sauna. It was obviously translated into English by a person that did not understand English. Many procedures of the use portion of the sauna is not explained and parts of the explanation are ridiculous. Example -- page 9 under IV Operations. Attentions -- Check the wire plug and voltage whether satisfied the needing of the instrument. page 11 under V Safety cautions -- Do not labber to the heater tube. (Nobody has been able to explain the word labber to me. page 12 VII Transportation -- Sauna is made of wood, therefore it should not expose in rain, and can not ship with the corrosive thing. Under Storage -- The storehouse should have no corrosive thing, and wind well
Please explain those two statements to me.

(More customer reviews)We've only been using this Sauna for 2 weeks now, but so far so good.It looks very nice and functions well.Overall, I'm happy with the unit and I feel great when I'm in it.I paid around $1,700 for this unit and most other units I looked at in stores or online were above $3,000 so I was a bit apprehensive at purchasing it.But as I said, so far so good.I would recommend this to others.

Good Points:

-Looks Nice
-Smells Great
-Heats up to get you sweating, but you don't really feel that hot.I find that I start a great sweat at around 106 degrees F.We have it in our basement and ambient temperature is around 64F, so the sauna hits about 114F.The description on the site says it gets about 50 degrees higher than ambient, so that's about right.It takes about 35 minutes to get to 100F.

- The "light therapy" is pretty nice as well.
- Radio works fine, but I don't get much reception in my basement

Bad Points:

-The instructions were both good and bad.The video shows a great high level, but there are not details around which screws to use when and there are a variety provided.Good news is that most of the unit clips together or slides together.

-I was a bit disappointed to find a layer of dust on the heaters and some of the metal tubes that covered the heater wires were a little rusted.It looked as if they were sitting around for a while.Saying that the heaters seem to be working fine.

-Some small pieces that were suppose to be tacked onto the floors had come off during shipping, but I was able to put it back together.

-The magazine rack was completely crushed so they are shipping me a new one.

-The stereo will now sit flush into the case, it sticks out about 1/2 an inch.
